LOCATED IN HISTORIC
DE PERE, WISCONSIN

The Mulva Cultural Center is a place where all guests are invited to experience a culturally creative and diverse environment for education, enlightenment, contemplation and enjoyment.

Exhibits

The Mulva Cultural Center seeks to offer traveling exhibits, arts and culture within an architecturally significant facility in historic downtown De Pere, Wisconsin. The center plans to open in 2023.

The Mulva Cultural Center Board of Directors will begin selecting exhibits in late 2020 with the expectation that the Mulva Cultural Center will be available for guests in late summer 2023. On average, three traveling exhibits will rotate each year providing new and engaging experiences for schoolchildren, seniors, families and all to enjoy—again and again.

“We imagine traveling exhibits the caliber of those we’ve experienced in New York, London and Chicago. Our vision calls for our foundation to bring what is often reserved for few to our hometown so that the children and residents may have first hand experience of such cultural wonders.” –Miriam Mulva

Unique Spaces

The Mulva Cultural Center project will include unique spaces to enhance the guest experience:

  • Core exhibit space
  • Flexible contemporary gallery space
  • Special performance spaces
  • Areas for reflection and contemplation
  • Café
  • Public plaza honoring veterans

A critical portion of the guest experience includes access to a viewing deck offering expansive views of the Fox River. The river-view opportunity will allow the public to learn more about how the Fox played a crucial role in the founding and development of De Pere through an aerial view of De Pere’s lock system.
